Accessibility Statement
Effective date: 17 April 2026 | Last reviewed: 17 April 2026
Our commitment
We are a small, family-run business and we recognise that our website resources are limited — but we believe accessibility matters. We are working towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our target standard and will continue to make improvements as we are able.
Target: WCAG 2.1 Level AA
If you find anything on our website difficult to use, please contact us directly — we are always happy to help.
How accessible this website is
We have reviewed our website and can report the following on its current accessibility:
Known limitations
We are aware that some parts of our website may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. These currently include:
- Some product and shop images may not yet have fully descriptive alternative text
- Some areas of the site may not yet meet the required colour contrast ratios
- Some interactive elements may not be fully operable by keyboard alone
As a small family business we are working through these improvements as quickly as we are able. If something is preventing you from getting the information you need, please call or visit us directly.
Visiting us in person
In store
We understand that not everyone uses our website — many of our customers prefer to visit us in the shop, and we warmly welcome everyone through our door. If you have a disability, mobility difficulty or any other need that affects how you shop with us or access our premises, please don’t hesitate to get in touch before your visit and we will do our best to help.
For customers who are unable to visit in person, we are happy to discuss orders, product information and allergen queries by phone. We would always rather you called us than went without the information you need.
Allergen information
We are committed to making allergen information accessible to all customers. If you have a food allergy or intolerance and find it difficult to access product information through our website, please contact us directly by phone and a member of our team will be happy to advise you. We never want a barrier — digital or otherwise — to prevent a customer from getting the food safety information they need.
Alternative formats
If you need any information from our website — including product details, opening hours or policy documents — in an alternative format, please contact us and we will do our best to help. We aim to respond to such requests within 5 working days.
Browser and assistive technology support
Our website is designed to work with modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, and should be compatible with commonly used assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation tools. If you experience a compatibility issue, please let us know.
